Multi-grain rice (五谷丰登饭)



  • Soak the coix seeds, wild rice, red beans, mung beans in water overnight.
  • combine the jasmine rice with the soaked multi-grains. Rinse thoroughly then drain completely.
  • Add 2.5-3 cups of water to the multi-grain rice. Bring it to a boil. Then turn the heat to low. Simmer with the lid covered for 18 minutes. The water amount depends on how hard or soft you want your rice to be.
